New Idea!!! Via Email...

Can we not have so many eating competitions? cause there seems to be alot and after a while the people that we invite might get bored. Can we have a amazing race? & food fight?

FOOD FIGHT
-use fake food to throw at each other
-put a line to separate the two teams
-time limit 5mins?
-see which side has the least no of food on their side = winner!:D
-forfit for the losing team = splat real cakes/pies at their faces:D
yayyyyyyyy<3

AMAZING RACE
-spilt into 5 teams? depending on no of people each team have 6:) or 4 if not enough ppl.
-have food games & quizes on food.
-quizes on food e.g.; how much is mcdonal's double cheese burger? :P
-food games e.g.;the station master discribes the food & must guess what food is that.:D
-play around woodlands? or further:D
heeeeeeee<3

IDEA!!! Read and click the reply button to contribute!!!

When I was on the bus on the way home from WEB today, an idea sprung to my mind. Something that we could really do at the last session with them......

I remembered reading this email it goes like this...

"A young lady named Sally, relates an experience she had in a seminary class, given by her teacher, Dr. Smith . She says that Dr. Smith was known for his elaborate object lessons.

One particular day, Sally walked into the seminary and knew they were in for a fun day.

On the wall was a big target and on a nearby table were many darts. Dr. Smith told the students to draw a picture of someone that they disliked or someone who had made them angry, and he would allow them to throw darts at the person's picture.

Sally's friend drew a picture of who had stolen her boyfriend. Another friend drew a picture of his little brother. Sally drew a picture of a former friend, putting a great deal of detail into her drawing, even drawing pimples on the face. Sally was pleased with the overall effect she had achieved.

The class lined up and began throwing darts. Some of the students threw their darts with such force that their targets were ripping apart. Sally looked forward to her turn, and was filled with disappointment when Dr. Smith , because of time limits, asked the students to return to their seats. As Sally sat thinking about how angry she was because she didn't have a chance to throw any darts at her target. Dr. Smith began removing the target from the wall.

Underneath the target was a picture of Jesus. A hush fell over the room as each student viewed the mangled picture of Jesus; holes and jagged marks covered His face and His eyes were pierced.

Dr. Smith said only these words....' In as much as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto Me .'
Matthew 25:40.

No other words were necessary; the tears filled eyes of the students focused only on the picture of Christ. ".

I think we could use this idea, in the same context. In our case, we could give them a piece of paper and give them the same things that Dr. Smith gave the class. All we need to do is to get them to use something sharp (thumb tags, mini knifes, food stuff that they have baked.... All the other stuffs that we could possibly think of) and get them to just throw it at the board that we would be giving them.

I think this idea is quite feasible.... Mayb u guys could come out with something else.

We really do not care whether the idea is practical or feasible. All we want is your contribution. BUT not ideas that are too complicated that beats our purpose totally: Make new friends and allow these friends to be comfortable with us.

NEW IDEA!!!!

As discussed in the discussion board on facebook, we actually came up with the idea of Eating Competition...

My idea of it goes like this......

We could bake enough food for the number of participants that we have...

For example, we have 10 participants (which I noe that there would definitely be more), we could make enough food for them like eating 10 cakes or muffins that we bake for a person (this amount has to be reasonable for all participants of that group) and have a timer to time them... The one that eats the fastest wins.... Something along that line lah...

In the end, I don't think we have much left overs, not to say needing needing to get funds for wasting food... Hahaha...

Welcome!

A warm welcome to all who have decided to join the WEB Bakers for outreach purpose in WEB. Well, as we have all come in one mind, I feel that we should all have a willing heart to learn and to share our ideas with one another. Let us be open with one another as we get to know each other. Lets learn the beauty of accepting each other as they are and not to judge one another. As youth of Christ, let us be like Him and be in Him.

Blessings!
